Ashwini Charitable Trust's(ACT's) carefully curated Mathematics curriculum helps and empowers the children to understand numerical concepts effortlessly in a playful and fun manner. Our educational experience is carefully crafted to enhance the foundation of mathematics in our ACT children with a chance to learn important mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Everyday, a few of our young ACT children get the chance to step into the world of numbers and embark on a journey where learning becomes fun. Once they’ve grasped the basic concepts, we switch our focus to academia and get them exam ready. Through engaging activities, vibrant visuals, and stimulating puzzles, our mathematics program not only helps children grasp fundamental math concepts but also cultivates a lifelong appreciation for logical thinking and problem-solving.
In September, our students were taken to visit an exhibition featuring the inspiring artistry of the famous artist, Vincent Van Gogh. These young minds were given the chance to get a taste of Van Gogh’s genius. What was most inspiring to these students was that despite facing numerous struggles and personal challenges, Van Gogh soon grew to become one of the most appreciated and inspiring artists of all time. His story was awe inspiring to all. The students were especially curious to learn how Van Gogh grew to such heights despite facing personal hardship. Through this exhibition, we were able to inspire our students and ignite their creativity. We were able to spark their curiosity and enable them to view the world from an absolutely different lens.
Some of our students shared their feedback, post their visit to the exhibition: “I attended the Van Gogh 360 art show for the first time and learned about his art through canvas reading. I loved the 35 self portraits created during his time as a patient.” - ACT Child 1
“We explored Van Gogh’s emotional paintings depicting his family, village, and people’s struggles. I admired his creativity despite financial struggles and enjoyed learning about his techniques from photography teacher.” - ACT Child 2
We, at ACT, would like to extend our heartfelt and sincere gratitude each and every one who has helped make this possible!
