Dear Donors,
Warm greetings from Leroy Bones Foundation!
We’re writing to share a brief update on our ongoing project to support inclusive education for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities in Kenya.
While we are yet to receive adequate funding through GlobalGiving to fully implement the project, we have not let that stop us from taking action.
Thanks to the commitment of our foundation and local partnerships, we have already deployed two special needs teachers at Good Shepherd School. These passionate educators are currently providing individualized support and therapy-informed learning to eight children with special needs, giving them access to education in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
This early intervention is already making a difference in the children’s confidence, engagement, and classroom participation.
However, to continue and expand this impact, we still need your help. The funds raised so far cover only a fraction of the resources required — including specialized learning materials, therapy support, and stipends for our teaching team.
We remain deeply grateful for your generosity and belief in our mission. With your continued support, we can reach even more children who deserve an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.
Thank you once again for being part of this journey toward inclusion.
With appreciation,
Edyth Bones
