Updates from the "Educating 3000 Children to Fight Social Risks" Project

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to share the latest updates from our project, Educating 3000 Children to Fight Social Risks. Thanks to your continued generosity, AAT has been able to sustain community outreach efforts that protect vulnerable children and support women in difficult circumstances, helping reduce social risks and create safer communities.

Continuing to Support Vulnerable Women and Children

AAT's Sunflower Team social workers continue to reach out to women engaged in sex work within the community. However, this work is not without challenges. Due to stigma and a lack of trust, many women are initially hesitant to share their experiences, while frequent changes in their workplaces make it difficult to maintain long-term contact and support.

Through patience, respect, and a non-judgmental approach, the Sunflower Team gradually builds trusting relationships with the women they meet. During each outreach visit, our social workers provide information on sexual and reproductive health, counsel women on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), distribute condoms, and connect them with appropriate support services whenever needed.

The team also pays close attention to the well-being of their children. By assessing each family's needs, providing emergency assistance when necessary, and linking children with education, healthcare, and child protection services, AAT strives to create a safer and more supportive environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and thrive.

Raising Awareness Through Online Communication

Alongside direct outreach activities, AAT continues to strengthen its online communication efforts on gender equality, child protection, and adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Through social media platforms, we share accessible and engaging content that helps young people better understand social risks, recognize their rights, and develop the knowledge and skills needed to protect themselves.

A Heartfelt Thank You

None of these achievements would be possible without the trust and generous support of our donors. Your contributions enable AAT to continue reaching vulnerable communities and provide timely support, essential knowledge, and hope for a better future to women and children facing social risks.

On behalf of everyone at AAT, we sincerely thank you for standing with us on this journey to protect children and support vulnerable communities. We look forward to continuing this important work together and sharing more positive updates with you in the future.
