Educate 3000 children against societal risks

Dear friends,

We are thrilled to have Geocomply and Dirox, the two well-known technology companies in Vietnam, established the partnership with our organization to promote the development on effectiveness of preventive mechanisms in community, and increasing community awareness of sexual abuse and exploitation, human trafficking and other related risks. Through the cooperation between AAT and the enterprises, we are looking forward to restarting our preventive training program in the coming time at schools after two years of Covid-19.

In last March, we started the very first activity with Geocomply by organizing a workshop and training for their staff on prevention of sexual harassment. The activity is designed to prevent gender-based harassment in the workplace, and focuses on providing the participants who are female staff of the company with clear information about the problem. Other related risks including sexual abuse and unsafe migration are also main parts of the discussion.

AAT also collaborates with The Mekong Sustainable Manufacturing Alliance by sending our staff to attend their training on the topic Respectful Workplace Program. Its main goal is to equip the factory workers and managers with basic knowledge and skills to enhance a healthy working environment without sexual harassment and sexual abuse, as well as improve the well-being of factory employees in Mekong region. We are happy to have our staff get involve in this project and contribute their effort in the mutual goal of developing preventive education and advance the self-protection of community.
