This project supports 27 children in Bangladesh whose education has been disrupted by climate-related disasters such as floods, storms, and displacement. By covering school fees, supplies, meals, and health needs, we help these children stay in school, regain stability, and build a safer, more hopeful future despite the impacts of climate change.
In climate-vulnerable communities in Bangladesh, recurring floods, storms, and displacement have disrupted children's education and household livelihoods. As families lose income and stability, 27 children are at risk of dropping out of school because they cannot afford tuition fees, school supplies, transportation, or basic learning needs. Without immediate support, these children face long-term educational loss and increased vulnerability to poverty, child labor, and exploitation.
This project removes the key barriers preventing 27 climate-affected children from attending school by providing tuition support, school uniforms and learning materials, transportation assistance, and access to tutoring and psychosocial counseling. By stabilizing their educational access and well-being, the project ensures consistent school attendance and helps children recover academically after climate-related disruptions.
By keeping 27 children in school, this project helps protect their right to education and strengthens their ability to build stable, self-sufficient futures. Over time, these children will gain the skills and knowledge needed to escape poverty, contribute positively to their communities, and become more resilient to future climate shocks. Investing in their education creates lasting social and economic benefits for families and climate-affected communities in Bangladesh.
