The school year has come to an end in Kenya. Students are enjoying a much-deserved 6 week break before the new school year resumes in January. For our students in Class 8, the holiday vacation from school is also an anxious time as they await the results of the mandatory national exam certifying their completion of primary school. Their eligibility for secondary school depends upon how well they did on the 3-day exam, and whether they will be one of the students selected for a scholarship through the Global Interfaith Partnership.
Recently several of our students wrote down prayer concerns to share with all of the many donors who support their education. Below are some of the prayer requests from the Class 8 students. During this season of Thanksgiving, we hope you will remember the concerns lifted up by these young girls and boys. We thank you for your support which enables them to have hope for a better future!
