This project is designed to address the leading causes of school dropout rates of young girl in rural schools in Kisarawe District Council of Coast region, Tanzania. The project is determined to support the empowerment of girls to get education to achieve their potential to fulfill their dreams through various integrated methods, promotion, support, empowerment, and capacity building.
PROVISION OF EXERCISE BOOKS FOR GIRLS:
Our project has been able to support the provision of exercise books for girls who entered the top ten of the class results for the past six months, the aim is to encourage girls' education to rise and raise girls educationally to compete with boys.
It is our expectation that by the time of the next exams it will help to increase the efforts of these girls to do well to ensure that they enter the top ten and get prizes for their good performance. And we promise to continue to encourage girls' education in more rural schools where most of the girls fail to continue their studies due to various reasons.
The project has been able to give exercise books to 15 girls who did well in their sixth month exams, this semester, where every girl who entered the top ten has been able to get 10 exercise books. The girls are from third grade, fourth grade and fifth where we have got 15 girls. This is to increase the competition of the efforts of girls to continue to do well to occupy the top ten positions as boys. where we hope to prepare a gift of other exercise notebooks for the next round of exams to give to the children who will enter the top ten.
We need to help and support those girls, so they can get proper school education, sanitary pads, and reproductive and sexual health education.
