Just recently, the tapping off ceremony was held to signify that the building is almost for completion and is now geared towards its formal inauguration. Members of the local trimedia and government officials graced the event.
The roofing at the second floor of the building has been installed. One can already see the development of the construction work and that the next few months will be concentrated on the aesthetics.
Another unique feature of the building are the windows – one of the University’s innovations in promoting environmental sustainability. During the ceremony, the stakeholders were made to sign on recycled glass bottles which will be installed in the windows. These bottles will usher in natural light for the facility.
Upon completion, the Edgar Sevilla Pasimio Memorial Clinic is geared towards serving the general public of Dumaguete City through state-of-the-art facilities and industry-grade care options while serving as a teaching clinic for Foundation University’s nursing program. The clinic will extend public healthcare services to the university community and will host an onsite pharmacy.
