The EDGAR PASIMIO MEMORIAL CLINIC, an addition to Foundation University’s North Campus, is a student-nursing clinic projected to serve the general public of Dumaguete City. The clinic will extend public healthcare services to the university community and host an onsite pharmacy among other health facilities. A doctor and registered nurse will oversee and provide hands-on training to student nurses enrolled at Foundation University.
Named after one of the University’s benefactors, EDGAR PASIMIO, the clinic will continue his legacy of providing equal access to healthcare. The clinic aims to offer state-of-the-art facilities and industry-grade care options while serving as a teaching clinic for Foundation University’s nursing program.
The December 9, 2015 groundbreaking was attended by the sons and family of Mr. Edgar Sevilla-Pasimio. Dr. Edmund Pasimio gave the Opening Remarks to Foundation Preparatory Academy's administrators, staff and students- all being the general audience.
The first laying of the sand was done by FU President Archt. Victor Vicente "Dean" Sinco, FPA Superintendent Dr. Mira Sinco, FPA Principals Melanie Austero and Chris Calumba, Dr. Edmund Pasimio and Dr. Mark Macias- who was the Guest of Honor.
