Sunday, January 15th will mark nine months after the devastating earthquake, yet Ecuador continues to be in a state of emergency. It will take time and care to restore the cities and villages.

The people of Ecuador live with constant aftershocks and therefore with a sense of fear. OVer 600 were killed and may more injured for life.

It's not over. The need is as strong now as the day after the earthquake. Ecuador continues to rely on international relief efforts like VIDA USA.
