Eco village is a holistic approach that will provide the community with integrated human activities with the natural environment to minimize the ecological footprint in the environment and develop a model where no support is needed from the outer side. By these sense Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) a local level non-government development organization establish a self-depended eco village campus where have self-energy generation process, safe drinking water service, integrated farming, cottage dormitory and local knowledge hub inner the campus. If anyone come to the campus no need to the help of others to lead his or her life.
It's situated in south western coastal region of Bangladesh which is detach from the terrestrial area known as polder 33. BEDS want to replicate these concept in every house of the community and without the support of the well-wisher we can’t do these welfare work.
