Over a decade, this community has struggled to secure basic services from government. They rely on one communal water tap at the bottom of a mountain and have no toilets. Most households use small "potty pots" indoors or outside, which are emptied every fe days. This system is unhygienic, unpleasant, and strips residents of dignity. Without proper sanitation, the risk of disease spreads quickly, especially in close living conditions. The lack of infrastructure is restricting them as a community.
We sucessfully built 10 toilets and our team did it themselves to cut the expensive cost of labour! . We achieved our goal to improve heath, dignity, safety and improve farming methods for off-grid eco-living and would now like to raise funds to build another 10 as it was such a success.
We appreciate all your support!
