WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED?
Here are some of the results of our work on the ground:
• More than 120,000 people reached through awareness-raising and prevention efforts to help curb the spread of disease.
• More than 300 community mediators trained to inform families, identify warning signs, and promote the early detection of potential cases.
• More than 90 healthcare professionals trained in infection prevention and control measures.
• 24 community health committees supported to strengthen information sharing, combat rumors, and facilitate the detection and referral of suspected cases.
We have also worked to improve safety at health centers, provide hygiene and protective supplies, and strengthen measures that allow us to care for people while reducing the risk of infection.
Behind these figures are better-informed families, better-prepared healthcare professionals, and communities with more tools to protect their health.
The fight against Ebola continues. It is essential to maintain preventive measures, strengthen health centers, and work with communities to detect potential infections early.
