In 2021 Lambi set up a program that started a month after the earthquake.
This program had a Humanitarian Emergency phase where Lambi Fund helped 2209 members of 34 Organizations find ways to repair broken homes, repair roads and meet other urgent needs (buying food, water). In in this sense it also helped 2 Organizations that had drinking water problems install at homes of 20 members These organizations 20 reservoirs (chatodo) with a capacity of 1000 gallons each to reach to catch water for drinking and for other needs.
Then in a second phase, as part of a more sustainable program, Lambi Fund helped organizations conduct economic activities to rebuild everything they had lost during the earthquake. The second part of this program focused more on food production in the field and trading goods at market.
There were 352 planters from 22 Organizations who received help to replant the ruined fields and 126 Women from 6 organizations who were able to resume their small business after receiving microcredit support.
