Mobile libraries bring books to new small communities.

By Paola Martinez | Director

Activity in Chone
Activity in Chone

On April, Cuentos en la Plaza, the mobile libraries, had a visit to Cámara Junior of Chone, along with sixty kids from the program "Semillero de Líderes", with whom we shared a very enjoyable reading session, a free exploration of books and the story "Silly Billy" by Anthony Brown. The children made the worry dolls called in Spanish “ Quitapesares”, who, according to folklore, help solve your problems if they are placed under your pillow while you sleep.

In Tabuchila and San Vicente we celebrated Earth Day with "The Lorax" and the puppet play "Malala and the Magic Pencil".

On May, the mobile libraries were once again to Chone, working on Mother's Day activities to support Cámara Junior program, this time we read "My Mom" by Anthony Brown, who helped us to discover how special is our mom and how many wonderful and things our mother has and how much she loves us.
