Progress report for Malungeni

The progress of this project is intermittant because of difficulties in securing funding.

The Malungeni project continues. In terms of the number of contact sessions, it is currently in its second year.
Funding from Arm in Arm in Africa (an American NPO) is supporting two contact sessions in 2025. One of these has already taken place and was highly successful. The second one will still take place later this year.
We are currently processing documentation to a funder who is looking to fund the balance of the training programme as of February 2026.
The enthusiasm of the teachers in Malungeni remains high. They appreciate the arts-based approach to teaching and learning.
