Invited by Brasilprev Insurance and Pension S.A, children and adolescents assisted by Children´s Cancer Institute were given the opportunity to watch the Disney on Ice Show. Patients from Clinical hospital, São Lucas da Puc Hospital and Conceição Hospital Group participated in this outing event.
The Ice skating show brought well known characters of the Disney World Stories, it was a full magical performance with lots of excitement that enthralled all those who were present.
According to Monica Gottardi ICI`s pedagogical teacher, actions like these make all the difference to patients and their mother´s whom devote full time in a daily basis to their children putting aside their own life.
In addition to recreation, computers knowledge and teaching, outings like these that have happened recently, help the ICI to provide various actions and opportunities for patient’s mother. The name of this project is: “Caregiver´s Care” aiming the wellbeing of the mother who cares for her child. This is a very important factor in the cancer treatment of the ICI´s patients, happiness helps to cure.
