Children's Cancer Institute extends assistance to patients.
The Children´s Cancer Institute has as its main partner the Clínicas Hospital of Porto Alegre. Since last September, the institute is thinking of growth and development providing social care for the cancer patients and their families. These patients are being treated in the Conceição Hospital of Porto Alegre. Our aim is to help these patients through the following sevices: socioeconomic evaluation, distribution of baskets with food (all non perishable ingredients )and all kinds of clothing, nutritional, psychological, educational support, recreation and dentist appointments.
This work will have to be aproved and agreed to by the health professionals of the Conceição Hospital. No doubt this partnership is very important for both sides. In the near future the Institute will embrace new challenges always increasing their social work.
Our volunteers will give all the affection and attention possible to the children suffering with cancer at the Conceição Hospital. The Institute is growing and our mission is to save lives creating new connections developing and increasing all possibilities in our general assistance. Seeking new partnerships is one of our challenges with the help of volunteers, community and interested entrepreneurs who will be helping us to transform in reality our dream of cure for all cancer patients.
