Preschool Update – Growing Together with Joy and Purpose
We are delighted to share that we currently have 53 wonderful children enrolled, with 50 actively participating this month. We warmly welcome both our returning families and the new families who have recently joined our preschool community. Your continued trust and support mean so much to us.
This month, our children have been on an exciting journey of self-discovery. Through meaningful, play-based experiences, they explored their feelings, families, community, culture, and the land around them. These learning experiences help them develop a strong sense of identity and appreciation for the world they live in.
On February 14th, we celebrated Valentine’s Day with our families under the theme “Fruits of Love Day.” It was a heartwarming and joyful celebration filled with love, kindness, laughter, and positive energy shared between children, parents, and teachers. Moments like these strengthen our community bonds and create beautiful memories for our children.
We also hosted special parent meetings to introduce families to our preschool program. During these sessions, we shared information about our play-based curriculum, school policies, and the formation of our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). These gatherings are essential in building strong partnerships with parents, ensuring we work hand-in-hand to support each child’s growth and development.
Our dedicated teachers continue to prepare engaging and meaningful learning activities. They are excited to introduce new learning chapters and remain deeply committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and inspired to thrive.
In January, on the 22nd and 23rd, our children had a truly special experience visiting the Doulos Hope ship, a floating library that arrived in Timor-Leste on January 15, 2026. The visit was an incredible opportunity for exploration and discovery. The children enjoyed browsing a wide variety of books, reading stories, and even purchasing books to take home. It was a memorable experience that sparked curiosity and strengthened their love for reading.
We are grateful for your ongoing support as we continue this inspiring journey of learning, discovery, and growth together. Your partnership makes a lasting difference in the lives of our children.
