Healthcare to 12,000 poor in rural Bangalore

Thanks to your support, healthcare reaches those unable to access distant hospitals from their villages. Kempamma, Muthanna, and many others joyfully live their lives, caring for their herds, cooking, washing, and working, all with your belief in our mission. Thank you.

Kempamma's laughter is infectious. Despite her husband's recent recovery from a prolonged bout of depression and her demanding hours at the silkworm-rearing unit, she embraces life with optimism. "What can I do? Cry? No. I don't want to hinder my husband's recovery. You have sprinkled our life with doorstep healthcare, love and an opportunity to call you when we need help. Now we need to move on," she beams.

We helped her husband recover from a long depression with counselling and medications, helped Kempamma regularise her diabetes and hypertension and assured her regular home visits and doorstep healthcare.

Muthanna faced constant hiccups after eating, making it hard for him to work and enjoy family meals. After seeking help from our healthcare worker, he was referred to our clinic and our main hospital. After six months of treatment, Muthanna is free from hiccups, eating well, and working in the fields. Now, family meals are filled with joy once again, thanks to the care he received.
