Syrian refugees living in refugee camps in Beqaa were overwhelmed by the impact of the storm. Most families are unable to buy their basic needs due to hyperinflation. However, this winter, URDA was able to act fast and help these families cope with the harsh winter.
The Drops of Hope campaign allowed us to distribute 2,000 clothes, 450 food parcels, 3,180 gallons of fuel, and 50 heaters to help keep families warm this winter. We were also able to help replace what was damaged by the storm by rehabilitating 386 tents by providing the families with plastic sheets and wood beams.
Thanks to your continuous support, we are able to spread joy and warmth to families who need it most.
