Greetings,
In March 2019, Healing the Children ran a one month campaign for our mission trip abroad.
Thanks to your contributions, we are happy to report we raised a record $22,000 from 101 individuals. Our Healing the Children Southern California Chapter provided over 40 children and adults with orthopedic, congenital deformities and post traumatic injuries both surgically and non operatively. We operated on 20 patients, provided custom prosthetics/orthotics for 11 and did over 20 therapeutic injections for painful arthritis
Our Medical Teams Abroad (MTA) teams to Nepal has served well over 100 children and adults each year, through our relationship with Nepal Orthopedic Hospital our MTA has seen the growth in their hospital and staff education as a wonderful residual effect of their desire for continued education! Healing the Children Southern California strives to treat the children and adults of Nepal yearly and we continue to seek funds to support these trips
