Hello Everyone!
We would like to thank everyone for donating to the DreamPower Horsemanship Hay Drive. We are glad to report that on the Global Giving Open Challenge we raised $7,630 from a total of 52 donors. In addition, we raised over $8000 from direct donations for the Hay Drive. All total we raised over $15,000 which will get us another barn full of hay PLUS go towards spring vaccines. Today was rabies and strangles. In two weeks will be EWET, West Nile and flu/rhino.
Our programs are going strong. We are glad to report that the final riding lesson for the children participating in the research study on the benefits of group therapeutic riding lessons for children on the autism spectrum was NOT rained out. The riders were AWESOME and each rider got a trophy for participating. Some of the children with their really cool trophies are pictured here. Also, our Veterans' programs for both post 9/11 and pre 9/11 veterans are continuing to reach more vets. We are so pleased to see each and every one that visits the ranch during our groups.
On March 14, 2015, DreamPower Horsemanship welcomed 20 Iraq and Afghanistan veterans from IAVA to A Day at the Ranch. 17 DreamPower volunteers and 17 DreamPower horses (really, 16 DreamPower horses + AC) made the day possible. Thank you to everyone who came for a really great day playing with horses and hanging out with other vets. #VetTogether
This is just a small example of what your donations make possible every day at DreamPower Horsemanship. We are truly thankful for every single donation that comes in. We know there are many different causes that speak to each and every one of you. Thank you for making us one of them.
Sincerely-
Kate Humphrey
