Green Phenix continues to evolve and innovate in its mission to create a more sustainable and inclusive Curacao. As we reflect on our achievements and set our sights on the future, we're thrilled to share a significant development in our Learn and Work program. This program, which has been instrumental in providing valuable training and job opportunities to those who have been unemployed for an extended period, is now expanding to offer even more support through the introduction of day activity programs.

Learn and Work Program: A Pathway to Employment

For many, the Learn and Work program is a vital stepping stone back into the workforce. Over the course of a year, participants receive hands-on training, mentorship, and support, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to secure employment. Our efforts have helped many participants transition into stable jobs, allowing them to contribute positively to their families and the community.

However, we recognize that traditional employment is not always a viable option for everyone. Some individuals face unique challenges that require a different approach. To address this, we are excited to introduce day activity programs as an extension of our Learn and Work initiatives.

Introducing Day Activity Programs: A New Chapter of Inclusion

With the generous support of MCB Bank, we have now created six day activity spots within our program. These day activity positions provide a structured environment where participants can engage in meaningful work, develop their skills further, and continue to be part of the Green Phenix community. This initiative allows us to accommodate individuals who may not yet be ready for full-time employment but still seek the opportunity to contribute, grow, and be part of something impactful.

These day activity programs are more than just a temporary solution—they represent our commitment to finding inclusive and adaptable pathways for everyone. By providing a supportive space tailored to individual needs, we are ensuring that no one is left behind in our mission to create a more equitable society.
