Camp for 400 Kids with Autism & Medical Needs

It's springtime and we are so ready for camp!   

As the leadership team at Dragonfly, we just want to say: We have great jobs. Check out our list for the next 89 days! 

• Hire 48 of the most amazing people in all the land.
• Design the slickest, funnest, hardest camp training for our amazing staff so they know how to work together, put kids first, communicate with people who think differently, keep everyone safe, know the routine and schedule at camp, and understand the camp-related aspects of autism, 22Q, hemophilia, sickle cell, and persistent asthma. Plus they have to know a ton of great games, songs, and projects.
• Create and send out warm welcome letters to all of our campers, complete with a hilarious story book and photos so kids and families know what to expect. 
• Raise another 60 thousand dollars with a 5K and a spring appeal.
• Plan our running costumes, because the 5K is a costume run which is going to make some awesome photos!
• Schedule busses and flights and carpools for all our beautiful campers
• Train our Ropes Course staff so they can facilitate  the high elements without mishaps
• Design delicious menus for campers and staff (yucky camp food is a myth at Dragonfly!)
• Make giganitic supply list spreadsheets and find the best prices on all our materials.  Remember to order TONS of marshmallows, lots of hula hoops, a baby pool for shaving cream for messy olympics and a new giant slip-n-slide
• Answer many many exciting phone calls about packing for camp! 
• Cross off the days on our countdown! 

We couldn't be more excited to bring the joy and happiness of camp to many more kids this summer. Bring on the sunshine, bring on the swimming, the s'more and the smiles!!!
