This year, pets like Candy found hope.
Like many spcaLA shelter pets, Candy arrived at the spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center after experiencing abuse and neglect.
For nearly eight decades, this small, urban shelter – opened in 1949 – has been a safe haven for hundreds of thousands of homeless, lost, and abused animals.
Candy received a holistic care plan that addressed her medical, nutritional, and behavioral needs. And now, thanks to your support, we can do even more.
I’m thrilled to announce the newly remodeled and expanded spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center.
With renovated and expanded animal housing, a new space for animal enrichment, pet food storage, and an education center for community programs like training classes, vaccine clinics, and youth initiatives, the Center is ready to serve generations to come.
