As a regular supporter, you might remember a dog named Cinderella.
She was one of our longest-term residents, joining spcaLA in August 2020 as a stray, or lost dog. Her size (65 pounds), breed appearance (Pitbull mix), and age (6 years) made finding her a new, loving home challenging. That was compounded by a torn cruciate ligament, for which Cinderella had to undergo surgery and months of recovery in foster care.
But, because of your support, Cinderella recovered.
She stayed with us until October when a sweet family came to spcaLA with one question: Who’s been here the longest?
We introduced them to Cinderella, and, after 1,139 days in our care, she was finally found.
For the first time in over three years, Cinderella will ring in the New Year in a bed of her own, surrounded by a family who loves her.
Your support gave Cinderella a fairytale ending.
Thank you.
