Donate for Iftar Meal this Ramadan

Introduction

During the holy month of Ramadan, the OBHIZATRIK Foundation, through its community kitchen Appayon, has been committed to providing 500 nutritious Iftar meals daily to underprivileged individuals. In Ramadan 2025, we successfully served 12,200 meals throughout the month, ensuring that vulnerable communities had access to proper nourishment during their fasting period. This initiative was made possible with the generous support of a partner organization that pledged 300 meals per day.

The Challenge

Millions of underprivileged individuals struggle to access nutritious food, particularly during Ramadan. Many daily wage earners, homeless individuals, and low-income families face difficulties in securing a proper Iftar meal after fasting the entire day. This lack of access to food affects their health and well-being, highlighting the urgent need for a sustainable solution.

Our Solution

Through this project, we provided 12,200 Iftar meals during Ramadan, ensuring everyone who came to Appayon community kitchen received a fresh, nutritious meal. Each meal costs only $1, including rice, chicken, juice, dates, and salad. To sustain this initiative for the entire year, we require more funding, which allows us to continue serving those in need and ensuring food security and dignity for all.

Long-Term Impact

Beyond offering immediate food security, this initiative promotes community support and sustainable, nutritious meal security for all. It strengthens our community kitchen model, demonstrating how consistent and reliable food distribution can positively impact vulnerable individuals. Our long-term vision is to expand Appayon so that it serves more people beyond Ramadan, transforming it into a permanent solution for hunger relief throughout the year. With ongoing support, we can ensure that no one goes hungry, regardless of the season.
