Another 57 wheelchairs distributed
By Ammad Siddiqui | Project Supervisor
We are so delighted to share with you that another 57 wheelchairs have been distributed. We have gifted
LRBT (Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust), an eminent medical institution for treatment of eyes, with the wheelchairs they needed across their 19 locations throughout Pakistan.
This act of service would not have been possible without the generosity of donors such as yourself. Thank you!
These wheelchairs will be used for patient's mobility, both those requiring surgery and those who are staying in the hospital for medical treatment. Many patients cannot see so these wheelchairs increase their physical safety as well.
So much donation comes for medical treatment and services that wheelchairs are often forgotten and in great need. Your generosity makes such a difference.
The need is so great that we humbly request you to continue to support and encourage others to support this very important cause.

We are very proud to share that - with your help - we have expanded from Karachi to Islamabad - in our distribution of wheelchairs. 100 wheelchairs have just been given to National Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (NIRMS) arms of Pakistan Institute of Management (PIMS).
The Honourable First Lady of Pakistan, Begum President Samina Alvi, presided the distribution of wheelchairs to individuals and the institute itself, particularly to and for those who have permanent spinal cord injury.
The women found it life-changing to be given mobility. The institute itself was also grateful as there existing wheelchairs had been given in 2005 and were in dismal condition.
The women were also spoken to about the potential of getting loans to start their own business in hope of getting livelihood.
This would not have been possible without your help. We are well on our way to distributing 10,000 wheelchairs, thanks to your generosity and support. Thank you!
