Donate a Hearing Aid for deaf children in Pakistan

We are pleased to share the progress of our project "Donate a Hearing Aid for Deaf Children in Pakistan", supported through the GlobalGiving platform. Your generosity is helping children with hearing impairments gain access to sound, communication, education, and a brighter future.

For many low-income families in Pakistan, hearing aids are unaffordable. As a result, children with hearing impairments often face barriers to communication, learning, and social inclusion. Through your support, NDF Pakistan is helping these children hear better, communicate more effectively, and participate more fully in family and community life.

Project Achievements

During this reporting period, NDF Pakistan:

• Provided hearing aids to 15 children with hearing impairments from low-income families.
• Conducted hearing assessments and referrals in collaboration with medical and rehabilitation professionals.
• Supported families with guidance on hearing aid use, maintenance, and communication strategies.
• Reached children from rural and urban communities across Sindh.
• Connected beneficiaries with speech therapy, educational support, and rehabilitation services where available.

Impact on Children and Families

The provision of hearing aids has enabled children to:
