Global Medic Force continues to expand its medical skill transfer programs in Vietnam.
Given the rapid transition in Vietnam from an agrarian economy to a developing world industrial economy, there has been a complete shift in the national healthcare disease epidemiology. As a result, more than 70% of all deaths in Vietnam are now caused by easily preventable chronic diseases that can effectively be treated at the primary care level if doctors are informed how to do it properly within existing resources. Global Medic Force's programs in Vietnam are working to directly address this problem.
