Trusted World is continuing to Help People Help People.

Hurricane Harvey made landfall on the Texas Gulf Coast on August 25, 2017, with winds topping 130 mph. One year later the families affected by the storm are still rebuilding their lives.

Extraordinary efforts have been made by Trusted World to focus on some of the hardest hit areas, such as Port Arthur and Dickinson, Texas. As time passes, Trusted World continues to meet with organizations focused on ensuring the individuals and families struggling to put their lives back together can rebuild.

Trusted World is dedicated to the needs of the community. We will only send what is needed when it is needed most. Michael Garrett, CEO of Trusted World stated, “During my last visit to the Houston, Port Arthur areas, I was amazed at how many people are not living in their homes. Many people are either living in a trailer in their front yard or staying with family and friends as they are rebuilding their homes. Many houses in the Port Arthur area had 8’ or more of water. This required everything on the first floor to be ripped out and thrown away.”

In April, Trusted World provided a $22,000 grant to Shalom Builders to conduct mold inspections to ensure the health and safety of those families. In addition, Trusted World sent twenty (20) queen and forty (40) twin mattress sets with frames, twenty (20) Refrigerators, seven (7) 30” Electric FSR Self Clean Coil Range and thirteen (13) 30” Gas Range ovens, twenty (20) over the range microwaves along with the connectors and cords necessary for each to Help I’m Hurting who in turn distributed the items to families without flood insurance living in Port Arthur. In addition, Trusted World delivered twenty (20) queen and forty (40) twin mattress sets with frames, twenty (20) Refrigerators, seven (7) 30” Electric FSR Self Clean Coil Range and thirteen (13) 30” Gas Range ovens, twenty (20) over the range microwaves along with the connectors and cords necessary for each to Houston.

On August 15, 2018, Michael Garrett, Trusted World CEO returned to the Houston area to deliver airconditioning units to Bread of Life.  On, August 17, 2018, and an additional 20 queen and 20 twin bed sets will arrive in Houston. All items will be distributed to the families in need through Bread of Life on behalf of Trusted World.   Through our partnership, the Bread of Life Mobile Tool Bank is assisting 137 Senior Citizen rebuild after the storm.
