As promised in the previous report, HOPE Africa has been able to source and distribute blankets to communities that really needed them. The disaster relief appeals seeks to provide assistance to communities who experience disasters like floods, fires or any other violent encounter. Through this appeal, we were recently able to identify communities that need blankets urgently. The blankets were sourced in bulk and delivered by the HOPE Africa team.
Communities who benefitted include Helderberg and Sir Lowry’s in the Western Cape province, South Africa. The communities were grateful to HOPE Africa and its partners for recognizing the need and meeting it especially during their most vulnerable state. We thank you for your generous contributions and hope to continue this partnership as we reach out to more communities.
