Project report of the Lao Disabled People's Association (LDPA)

After finished for practice and wheelchair basketball tournament, we continue implementing, promoting this activities to PWD’s in Vientiane Capital to attend this project. We have plan for practice 3 time per week (One or Two hour per time), but we stop activities that start of 2015 because repaired and adjust indoor stadium, after finished we continue. Than we promoted/demonstrate wheelchair basketball in National sport for disable people in Oudomxai province on January 2015 and then we cooperate with AAR project to promote and put PWDs to attend more, and we try to put wheelchair basketball included to National sport for Disable people in Xiengkoung province (North of Laos) on 2017, and specially we got invitation from ADDP project to attend Wheelchair basketball International Tournament in Japan on July 2015.

This project very important and more benefit for PWD’s in Vientiane Capital because that promoting and implementing to social to know more and understanding for wheelchair basketball.

We have more participant around Vientiane Capital to attend this project:……..team…..total number of participant. This project that have more effect for change attitude, abilities, good cooperation,  strong health and social inclusive

Lao Disabled Peoples Association have plan to continue promote and implement this project to cover more, and we will working closely with Lao Paralympic Committee to included wheelchair basketball in National Sport for Disabled people in Xiengkoung province (North of Laos) on 2017 and we will provide wheelchair basketball tournament more than 2 time per year and we would like to make strong team to attend Regional tournament and international tournament.
