Over the last 12 months, our Community Clubs have:
- Reached over 300 disabled Londoners
- Improved levels of physical activity
- Reduced levels of loneliness and isolation
- Acted as a hub to train disabled people to become sports coaches, opening up employment opportunities
Temi joined a Community Club in 2018, before volunteering to help others like him living with a disability. In 2022, we gave Temi free qualifications, and he is now a paid sports coach at our club in Wandsworth - the very club he started attending in 2018! It opened once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Temi shared his story at a Nike summit at the Paris Paralympic Games. In 2025, he performed the Coin Toss at Wimbledon’s Men’s Singles Wheelchair Final, meeting British tennis stars and even royalty.
