Based on the compiled 2025 Activity Reports, here is the detailed breakdown of the performance and social support provided by the Ajuda de Mãe local offices:
Monitoring and Attendance Indicators (2025)
Lisbon (Headquarters): Monitored 131 clients throughout the year. Out of 349 scheduled appointments, 207 were performed. This office achieved the highest number of professional integrations, with 63 mothers placed in the labor market.
Queluz: Managed the highest volume of monitored families, totaling 169 clients. A total of 243 appointments were performed out of 367 scheduled.
Odivelas: Supported 105 families during 2025. The office recorded high attendance levels, performing 270 appointments out of 309 scheduled. It successfully integrated 46 mothers into professional roles.
Loures: Monitored 104 clients. It performed 131 appointments out of 236 scheduled and achieved 4 professional integrations.
Amadora: Provided support to 100 families. Out of 345 scheduled appointments, 157 were performed, resulting in 2 professional integrations.
Oeiras: Accompanied 30 families. A total of 67 appointments were performed out of 100 scheduled.
Social Support and Distributed Goods
The offices serve as distribution centers for essential items to ensure the well-being of both infants and mothers:
Food Baskets (BA) and Fresh Produce: The Queluz office distributed 123 standard food baskets and 123 fresh produce baskets. Loures provided 96 standard baskets and 208 fresh produce baskets. Lisbon delivered 21 standard baskets and 256 fresh produce baskets.
Diapers and Hygiene: Significant support was provided in Odivelas, with the delivery of 64 packs of diapers and 76 packs of wipes. Loures distributed 99 packs of diapers and 86 packs of wipes.
Layettes and Clothing: Lisbon led in the distribution of layettes with 99 units and 88 items of clothing. Queluz delivered 50 layettes , and Loures delivered 47.
Childcare Items: 79 items were delivered in Queluz , 75 in Lisbon , and 56 in Loures.
This work is further supported by pre- and post-partum home visits and close coordination with local networks such as the CPCJ (Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth) and health centers to ensure full social integration.
The offices provide essential items to families in need, including food baskets, diapers, clothes, and layettes. Beneficiary testimonials highlight the significant emotional and material impact of the program, particularly during the holiday season through collaborations with the Food Bank and other partners.
