Since the launch of the project “Dignity & Post-Maternity Kits for IDP Women in DRC” (#63942) on the GlobalGiving platform, we have so far raised $1 from 2 generous donors out of our total goal of $116,175. We would like to sincerely thank these early supporters for their kindness and solidarity. Even this small contribution is a meaningful gesture of support toward internally displaced women facing extremely difficult conditions, especially during and after childbirth.
While funding remains very limited at this stage, the needs on the ground are urgent and continue to grow. Displaced women in eastern DRC still lack access to essential dignity and post-maternity kits, exposing them to serious health and protection risks. We therefore kindly encourage our donors and the wider community to continue supporting this initiative. Your generosity can make a life-changing difference, helping us provide critical assistance and restore dignity to vulnerable mothers and their newborns.
