The project “Dignity & Post-Maternity Kits for IDP Women in DRC” aims to restore dignity, health, and protection for internally displaced women and new mothers affected by armed conflict in eastern DRC. Through the provision of dignity kits and post-maternity kits, the project responds to urgent needs of women and girls living in displacement camps and host communities, where access to basic hygiene and maternal supplies is extremely limited.
However, this project has not yet been able to begin because, so far, only USD 1 has been raised toward our USD 116,175 goal. Meanwhile, displaced women and new mothers in eastern DRC continue to face extreme hardship, lacking even the most basic dignity and post-maternity supplies. Your generosity can help turn this project from a plan into lifesaving action—every contribution brings hope, protection, and dignity to women who urgently need it.
