Thank You for your support to our Digital Literacy Project. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our donors for personally providing 12 out of the 20 new computers we needed for the youth and children from urban slums in Jaipur.
The project aims to provide computer based education to primary & middle school children from socially and economically backward migrant families from some of Jaipur's urban slums. It also provides computer skills training to youth to increase their employability and ensure that youth is not under trained and ill-prepared to enter the workforce.
The Academies for Working Children (AWC) aims to bridge the digital divide and increase access to technology of children. Some of the positive outcomes linked to the use of technology in these schools are:
