To address the deep-rooted gender digital divide and promote digital inclusion among migrant women, Sampark launched the“DIGIT-ALL FOR HER- Digital Inclusion for Migrant Women” campaign.
Three core expectations drove the campaign:
With generous support from partners and donors, two impactful events were organised:
Impact created
Enhanced Digital Awareness: Over 250 migrant women learned to identify and respond to digital threats, making them more confident and secure in using mobile phones and digital platforms. We fostered foundational digital understanding in the migrant women, setting the stage for continued digital learning and engagement in online services, financial tools, and government portals.
Improved Access to Social Security: Women began their journey towards improved social security through our awareness session on the importance of registering with the government benefits and entitlements.
Health Access for Marginalised Communities: Through the eye-test camp held in labour colonies, more than 100 migrant women received free vision screenings, with 27 spectacles provided to those diagnosed with vision issues, improving their quality of life and ability to work.
Community Engagement Strengthened: The events created a safe, inclusive space where women felt heard, supported, and motivated to continue their learning journey, fostering deeper trust between Sampark and the migrant communities it serves.
Thank you!
We are grateful for the continued support of our donors in making this impact possible. The DIGIT-ALL FOR HER campaign is a step forward in Sampark’s long-term commitment to women’s empowerment, ensuring that digital and health inclusion go hand-in-hand in promoting dignity, independence, and equal opportunity.
