We are fast approaching the pre-Christmas period, a time of reflection when children's eyes light up and dreams - big and small ones can come true.
However, it is also a time when families will face financial challenges and have to ask themselves whether there will be enough for Christmas presents this year and whether the fridge will be full over the festive period.
We want to provide children and young people a wonderful, warm-hearted Advent season without sorrow. The children can get endlessly creative during craft activities and baking afternoons and decorate our "Arche" for Christmas. It will smell wonderfully of sweet pastries, and there will be celebrations, laughter and singing.
The planning for the various Christmas parties is already in full swing and the fairy lights and Christmas baubles will soon be taken out of the basements. The decorated Ark will then be filled with Christmas spirit and every child can look forward to their own present from Santa Claus.
However, we can only give the children and young people a happy pre-Christmas period and a peaceful Christmas thanks to donors like you. Whether this is about a small gift at Christmas, a festively decorated Christmas tree, time spent baking with others or simply a delicious meal - a child's smile is precious.
We would therefore like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
