Summer Highlight "Arche" Camp

"It was my first time at the sea and I built a sandcastle!"
- that's how it sounds like when the children return from their summer holiday camps.
They shine with joy and feel euphoric and excited.
For many of them, it is a unique experience and even often their first trip at all.
This feeling of anticipation of an adventure when you pack your travel bag, tuck your favorite cuddly toy under your arm and wait for it to start - for the majority of our children and young people this is not a matter of course and they will cherish the "Arche" holiday camp for a long time.
And that is precisely what is so important for development. Children should gain as much experiences as possible - being brave, discovering new things, making friends and having fun. This is the only way they can broaden their horizons, become self-confident and strong for life.
It doesn't matter whether the holidays are spent on the Baltic Sea or on our "Arche Ranch" in Brandenburg - a holiday camp is also a good opportunity for the educators to spend even more intensively time with the children and young people.
Problems are sometimes easier to discuss around the campfire, far away from school and parents. And a good conversation can already be the first helping step towards a better future.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
Only because of your donation we can give the children and young people this time-out and give them lively days full of excitement, joy and freedom.

LET'S GO OUTSIDE!

The days are finally longer again, the sun is shining and cloudy thoughts about high prices or problems at school give way for joy about the warm temperatures and the upcoming summer holidays.
Nature blossoms - Flowers, trees, shrubs - everything awakens from hibernation to new life. Also in the different “Die Arche”-locations, we are busy preparing for the summer and the activities that are now taking place outside.
Fresh air, sport, games and fun - that's what children need and that's what we want to offer them at all of our locations. We want to distract them from their worries and needs. They should feel freely and carefree, be allowed to be children and enjoy the summer.
In order to make this possible for them, we are already busy planning our holiday camps.
The summer holidays and the associated time out in the camps are already eagerly awaited by the children and young people. Depending on age or interests of them, there will be different destinations and activities.
The “Arche-Ranch”, which is a popular holiday destination for our children, is being expanded and a dedicated “Arche Camp”-terrain in Brandenburg is also being developed.
In this way, we can give even more children the opportunity to experience this important holiday and travel experience. For many of them it will be the first time and therefore all the more exciting.
The other “Die Arche”-locations are also busy working, screwing and digging to get fit for the summer.
In Berlin-Hellersdorf, for example, a water-slush system is being built. At hot summer temperatures, this will be great fun for the little ones and is also important for their development. In this way they experience the world with all their senses and learn to perceive themselves better.

We say thank you

Dear friends of „die Arche“,
because of your great support and help, we were able to achieve a lot in the past year!
We were able to welcome 3.900 new children and young people to our facilities throughout Germany and establish valuable relationships with them.
230.000 hot meals were distributed in our "Archen" or in the form of food parcels to needy children and their families.
Every month, 4.200 children and young people received virtual and on site support with their homework and tutoring from our employees and numerous volunteers.
7.200 children, young people and needy parents received urgently needed clothes and shoes from our clothing stores, also called "Schatzkiste".
And in addition to that, numerous summer camps, hundreds of excursions, creative leisure activities, parent talks, children's parties and much more have taken place week after week in our „Archen“!
