Program:
- To organize detection camps in all project villages and offer free blood and urine tests and testing of blood pressure to all men and women above 35 years of age;
- To refer persons with symptoms of diabetes and high blood pressure to secondary health care institutions of their choice;
- To organize quarterly follow-up contacts of all persons identified with symptoms and referred for treatment and repeat free blood and urine tests and testing of blood pressure;
Kannamangalm – pudupettai village, we cover one camp organized Mandapam with the help of GLOBLAL GIVING PARTNER SUPPORT.
One Day Orientation Program for the students in the Diploma in Nursing and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology to discuss about the details of activities connected to the project and their participation in the program. The detection camps were organized in one village with the help of the students. We were conducted blood, urine tests,blood pressure and let people know the results on the spot in the village situation. Awareness will be created by pamphlets.
