Dear friends,

Thanks for making 2015 spectacular. With your support, we worked to expand our community of bold, compassionate, and humble global health leaders.

In 2015 alone:

  • We grew to 3 new chapters at the University of Texas - San Antonio, Morehouse College, and Wilbur Wright College. This brought our total up to 56 university chapters and over 1,500 students.

  • We met with contacts from 29 of our partner organizations through partner visits and the Africa Partner Forum. There we learned from their experiences and discussed how we can better support our partner organizations.

  • We had over 160 Grassroots Onsite Work (GROW) interns work alongside their partners to strengthen their relationships and increase their impact.

  • We graduated 411 seniors who are now working to create change in their own communities.

  • We provided over $200,000 in grants to students and partners so that they could attend trainings, conferences, and internships related to global health education and experience.

And finally, we launched two new videos highlighting the passion and drive our students, alumni, and partners have for global health and social justice. Check them out:

  • FIU + EDELACLearn how GlobeMed’s Grassroots Onsite Work internships help students gain experience, knowledge, and skills for future careers in global health.

  • Rhodes College + AMOS Health & Hope: Learn how GlobeMed’s partnerships increase our alumni’s and partner organizations' ability to succeed in the field of global health.

To see more, check out Storify review for 2015.

Thank you again for your support! We couldn't do any of this without you.

With gratitude,

Caroline Nguyen
