Dear Friends of Emergination Africa,
Following the 2024 National Business Case Competition(NBCC) provincials and educator training documented in our last report, Emergination Africa successfully hosted the NBCC 2024 Finals on the 24th of June 2025. This event marked a significant milestone in our commitment to develop Africa’s future business leaders.
Ten top-performing schools from across Zimbabwe participated in the finals, presenting learner-led business cases that are innovative, sustainable, and scalable. These ventures reflect the entrepreneurial potential of our youth, ready to generate employment before even entering the job market.

Following the NBCC Finals, selected teams will embark on the transformative journey of the Virtual Innovation Accelerator (VIA)—Emergination Africa’s premier platform for incubating youth-led ventures into actionable, scalable enterprises. VIA is designed as an intensive, multi-phase experience that guides learners through the full arc of entrepreneurship, ensuring their innovations evolve beyond prototypes into market-ready solutions.
Through VIA, Emergination Africa ensures that youth-led business ideas are not only nurtured but strategically elevated. By the end of the program, participants emerge with ventures poised for launch, community impact, and long-term growth, each team carrying the potential to shape job creation, social progress, and economic resilience.
We extend heartfelt thanks to all educators, students, donors, and partners for making this transformative journey possible. The NBCC is more than a competition, it is a catalyst for economic empowerment, innovation, and leadership.
As we forge ahead toward impacting 2 million learners by 2027 through the creation of 360 youth-led micro ventures, we invite continued collaboration and support. Let us carry the momentum forward and remain united in Developing Africa’s Future Business Leaders.
