Dear Donors and Stakeholders of Emergination Africa,
As we continue to shape Africa's future business leaders, the first quarter of the year has been dynamic and inspiring, filled with impactful activities aimed at strengthening partnerships, enhancing teacher training programs, and engaging with learners. From preparing for major events to exploring new collaborations, our journey so far has been marked by significant progress across multiple initiatives.
In February, we advanced several key programs. Our Virtual Innovation Accelerator (VIA) initiative continues to make meaningful strides, with teams tackling challenges such as company registration, business plan development, and leadership transitions, all while receiving ongoing support from us. We are also eagerly awaiting funding to launch the next VIA cohort.
March brought fresh momentum and achievements. Among our highlights, we deepened engagement with key stakeholders to secure support for our upcoming initiatives. Furthermore, teacher-focused capacity-building efforts took center stage, including the expansion of training materials tailored to empower educators in entrepreneurship education. These activities underscore our commitment to fostering sustainable growth in entrepreneurial education across the continent.
Meanwhile, the NBCC 2024 finals remain tentatively rescheduled for May due to delays in fund disbursements. For 2025, our overarching goals include prioritizing teacher training, closely monitoring program performance, and integrating valuable feedback to enhance our initiatives’ overall effectiveness.
Significant strides have also been made in the Educator Venture Development Training (EVDT) program. We are diligently developing a comprehensive manual to equip teachers with the tools and knowledge necessary to revolutionize entrepreneurship education. These efforts reinforce our dedication to innovation and progress across all our programs.
The months of January, February, and March have laid a strong foundation for sustained growth. The partnerships we’ve built, the initiatives we’ve launched, and the program enhancements we’ve made are crucial steps toward creating a more interconnected entrepreneurial ecosystem. Looking forward, we remain focused on advancing teacher training, improving program delivery, and securing the resources essential to ensuring our initiatives’ sustainability. By equipping youth with critical, practical, and problem-solving skills, we are steadfast in our mission to create sustainable opportunities that empower learners to generate opportunities for themselves and others.
