WAKING UP THE ELECTORATES!
Champions For Humanity Development Initiative is on the centre stage of campaigning and educating our local community on the rewards of of good democracy for the development and peaceful co existence of the people. We deployed the use of measuring tools in our campaign. We had sent out more than a ten hundred thousand questionnaires to the people of our community. From the results, our data showed that we must embark on a serious campaign for the education of our community people on democracy, this is because more than 85% of locals do not actually understand what democracy is all about.
The locals thought that democracy is just voting and electing the highest spender of money during campaigns for elective offices. Others wrongly thought that democracy is all about who knows how to do bribery is the one that shall win for an elective office. C4HDI is now educating on the essence of democracy, negating their hitherto beliefs. We have measured our successes in the past month and are glad that our project is yielding positively in changing the wrong beliefs of our local people.
QUESTIONS ANSWERED ABOUT DEMOCRACY.
As the first of it's kind in my community, our project is making serious waves such that volunteers come in from every corner of the community. We indulge in radio, television, print media and social media campaigns. We are involved in answering many questions we are asked. We are involved in solving arguments between people about democracy. We are involved in social media arguments by some fake account users we intend to disrepute our cause and project. We are consistent in our true definitions of democracy, it's advantages and it's principles which are very beneficial to our local community.
The signups we receive is tremendous which shows that people are converting.
CAMPAIGN BEGUN.
Within the last 3 months, C4HDI has appointed more than 5 Ambassadors of Democracy in some tertiary Institutions in my community. We interviewed 30 students from different Institutions and selected the best 5 who merited the appointment. The work of these include but not limited to, liaising with our organization on issues of democracy, spreading the education and referrals of our tenets about democracy for peace in their various schools. The Ambassadors are paid a stipend and they make a formal monthly report to our organizational offices. We intend also, to carry out a model test of our education campaign of democracy in school elective offices before our local community general elections which shall come up in the next two years, 2027. The results we experienced in schools elections this year will help shape and modify our methods to yield the best results in 2027.
WE ARE CONTINUING.
Watching the political climate in our local community, we could observe that we've succeeded in raising 10% interest of the electorates. They are willing to adapt to the tenets of real democracy. In this light, we hopefully wish to share out handbooks and other materials that will encourage them to be active in democratic concerns.
Thanks.
