He spent his free time drawing cartoons, capturing his inner world, roommates, and sometimes colleagues. Milan is an oncology patient. In the St. Lujza shelter he spent 13 months. Along with him, eight other clients were fighting cancer, most of them in terminal stages.
We will mention at least some. Mrs. Viera (52 years) spent only one night in our shelter, then she was hospitalized. After eight days she died. She had an advanced stage of cancer.
Last week, our other clients died, Stefan (56 years) on oncology, and Ludevit (65 years old) in the retirement home. People like Milan, Viera, Stefan and Ludevit belong to a group of homeless people who have to fight through a lot of problems and are still trying to fight a serious illness.
We are very grateful employees of Mobile Hospice and ADOS Slnecnica, with whom our organization has been cooperating for 10 years to help sick homeless people, who have been very helpful to us and our clients.
Thank you for your support.
