There are many ways to spend free time when you are a king or young man. Slovak Scouting provides the opportunity to spend it meaningfully. TV or computer is replaced by nature, instead of drugs and violence offers good friends. The project, Great Teams encourages the development groups consisting of six to eight children who actively use their free time, they develop their skills, make friends and learn to cooperate.
The project not only affects children who are part of Great Teams. They are in fact a good example and serve as a model and inspiration for many others who have the opportunity to spend their free time with quality and attractive. Slovak Scouting supported by 50 Great Teams with 600 members till now.
The leaders of Teams met together in September 2011 in Rajecká Lesná. One hundred of them took part in this meeting. Through games, workshops and discussions were looking for new inspirational ideas on how to be a good leader and lead children to meaningful leisure activities in a safe environment.
