Better, more transparent and more educated Slovakia - that has been the vision of Great Country since the beginning. Thanks to you - donors - this vision is becoming reality. YOU help 60 organizations from donation platform DobraKrajina.sk (Great Country) grow and make a positive change in education, transparency, poverty, community and life of the disabled.
2019 was full of great moments and celebration
Who is behind the third sector? Who are the non-profits? Unveiling the superheroes behind non-profit projects and talking about the PEOPLE, who dedicate their life to doing good through popularizing videos was one of our main and most popular activities in 2019. By presenting the non-profit through one person, their life behind the scenes in almost 20 videos, Great Country celebrated its 10th birthday.
Furthermore, we presented the work of non-profits on TEDxBratislava, Climate Conference Slovakia and Globsec Forum, organized major fundraising opportunities such as 24-hour donation marathon or Dobry Tvrdak - a charitable race.
Last, but not least, we introduce cashless giving at all of the events above in collaboration with UniCredit Bank.
